Automation Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Support Specialist to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing commissioning and start-up support at customer sites, as well as supporting system installation, upgrades, and on-site maintenance of DeltaV systems.
Your Responsibilities- Provide commissioning and start-up support at customer sites, ensuring seamless system integration and optimal performance.
- Support system installation, upgrades, and on-site maintenance of DeltaV systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Analyze, document, and solve technical customer requests and inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Support trainings of customer engineers or operators on site, ensuring they have the necessary skills to operate and maintain the systems.
- Evaluate and escalate problems to specialists in the EMR Support Centre for further investigation and follow-up, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with the sales and service team leader to promote service contracts and their renewal, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the Emerson On-call service, providing 24/7 support to customers and ensuring minimal downtime.
