About the Role:

As a key member of the ZEISS Group, you will be responsible for driving the development of our cranial tumor procedures. This involves owning our understanding of current trends and developments in clinics and industry, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate potential future offerings to drive clinical outcome or workflow improvement in cranial tumor procedures.
  • Act as the spokesperson within ZEISS for a holistic view of the workflow in cranial tumor procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of workflow concepts in product generation projects, innovation projects, and clinical or medical studies.
  • Establish and maintain a close customer interface in cranial tumor clinical environments.
  • Ensure tight integration with all areas of the SBU and relevant MED or ZEISS entities.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in medicine, natural sciences, or engineering, and additional business administration qualifications (MBA) or a PhD. You should have at least 8 years of professional experience in the medical industry or in a clinical environment, with specific clinical or medical knowledge in neurosurgery and cranial tumor interventions being a strong plus.

Requirements:

  • University degree in medicine, natural sciences, or engineering with additional business administration qualification (MBA) or PhD.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the medical industry or in a clinical environment.
  • Specific clinical or medical knowledge in neurosurgery and especially cranial tumor interventions.
  • Commercial knowledge in the respective medical market.
  • Fluent English language skills and intercultural negotiation skills.
  • Well-founded project and product management skills.
  • A high degree of social skills and customer orientation.
