Electrical Power Consumption Data Exchange Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Energy and Environmental Operations team as an intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a project focused on electrical power consumption data exchange with public grid suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Understand and evaluate current market communication setup at Dow Schkopau site
- Perform market and technology study on required state of art communication technologies with 50hertz
- Develop scalable optimal load forecasting solutions and improvement options based on different requirements and cases
- Currently studying for a bachelor's / master's degree or equivalent in process automation engineering, electrical engineering, information engineering or related courses of study
- Good working knowledge of English and German
- Solid understanding of processes
- Sound knowledge in data collection technology, including data mining and evaluation
- Strong teamwork capabilities and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently
- Structured approach to handling multiple work contexts
