LUH-72 Helicopter Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced LHU-72 Helicopter Mechanic to join our team in Hohenfels, Germany. As a key member of our aviation maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on the LUH-72 aircraft to ensure it is airworthy and meets FAA standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in helicopter mechanics, with at least 2 years of experience in military tactical aircraft maintenance. A valid FAA A&P license is required, and possession of a T1/CAC NACI US Government Clearance is mandatory.

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year (dependent on experience). The selected candidate will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the LUH-72 aircraft
  • Repair and replace defective components or assemblies as needed
  • Conduct operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and powered ground equipment
  • Inspect and troubleshoot to determine cause of malfunctions
  • Direct the work of lower-graded mechanics for complete assembly, modification and checkout of the entire aircraft
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in military tactical aircraft maintenance
  • 3 years rotary wing/helicopter aircraft hands-on mechanic experience
  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Possession of a T1/CAC NACI US Government Clearance
