Process and Order Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive customer support from order acceptance to delivery, serving as a single point of contact.
  • Update orders in the ERP system, considering payment and delivery terms, shipping methods, packaging regulations, and country-specific customs and import regulations.
  • Independently review incoming orders, initiating corrections as needed through direct communication with customers or country sales representatives.
  • Coordinate delivery dates according to customer requirements, collaborating with internal departments.
  • Ensure timely allocation of goods and proactive action to meet customer needs while aligning with corporate goals.
  • Process documentary payment transactions, including letter of credit processing.
  • Foster continuous process improvements, digitalization potential, and best practices in the customer order process chain to enhance performance and develop the department.
  • Develop and refine operational core processes.
  • Analyze and optimize ordering behavior of national companies.
  • Develop, analyze, and document key figures within the supply chain in cooperation with related departments and national companies.
  • Support necessary process introductions in national companies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
  • Professional experience in logistics or SCM.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP (mainly module SD) and MS Office.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Process-optimized, project-related, and solution-oriented work.
  • High level of personal responsibility and self-motivation.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Structured, target-oriented, and deadline-driven work.
  • Flexibility.
  • Intercultural competence and team spirit.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
