We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as a Support Specialist for Educational Accompaniment. This role involves providing one-on-one support to a 6th-grade student, helping them adapt to daily changes at school, and promoting a positive self-perception.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to a 6th-grade student to enhance their academic and social experience
- Assist the student in developing coping strategies to manage daily changes and challenges
- Collaborate with the student to build their self-confidence and self-esteem
- Support the student in developing nonverbal communication and social skills
- Encourage teamwork and cooperation among students and staff
- Help the student set and achieve academic and personal goals
- Network with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to the student
- Completed training in Social Assistance, Child Care, Integration Support, or a related field
- Knowledge of social pedagogy and its application in educational settings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills, empathy, and assertiveness
- Initiative and willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
