Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and other robotic systems. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Maintain AGV Systems: Regularly inspect and maintain AGV systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on AGV systems, including replacing parts and performing software updates.
  • Support Preventive Maintenance: Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve technical issues related to AGV systems, including troubleshooting and repairing complex problems.
  • Document and Report: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and other relevant information.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as required by the Robotics Operations Team, such as assisting with system upgrades or providing technical support.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 1 year of experience in a technical field.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience with AGV systems and robotics.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
