Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Reutlingen. As a Mechanical Engineer for Industrial Automation, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for manufacturing processes using 3D-CAD software
  • Conceive and design automation and process systems
  • Coordinate with external designers, customers, and suppliers
  • Support the creation of technical documentation and risk assessments
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective project execution and quality control
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, software, process development, and manufacturing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in mechanical design for series or special machine manufacturing
  • Knowledge of automation and handling technology is an asset
  • Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidEdge
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English and willingness to travel
