Technical Systems Manager

Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and driven technical professional to manage and enhance fulfillment systems within Eurobase People. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of critical applications across the fulfillment process, from warehouse management to customer service.
About the Role:
- Application Ownership: Manage and maintain applications critical to the fulfillment process, ensuring they meet organizational needs and resolve operational challenges.
- Requirements Alignment: Work with business teams to ensure application requirements align with business goals.
- Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with software vendors to implement and enhance application features.
- Integration Management: Partner with IT teams to establish and maintain interfaces between fulfillment applications and other systems.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve application issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and provide end-user training when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain critical applications throughout the fulfillment process.
- Ensure alignment between application requirements and business goals.
- Collaborate with software vendors to implement and enhance application features.
- Partner with IT teams to establish and maintain system integrations.
- Proactively address and resolve application issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide end-user training.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Several years in IT projects, ideally in an eCommerce environment, with hands-on experience in application maintenance or configuration.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable with software configuration; knowledge of ETL processes, and APIs, and the ability to write REST/SOAP queries for proofs of concept is a plus.
- Logistics Knowledge: Basic understanding of logistics processes.
- Work Ethic: Independent, solution-oriented, and team-focused work style with a track record of managing large software projects.
- Communication Skills: Strong coordination and communication skills, with experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
