SAP Ariba Implementation Specialist

About the Role

At METRO, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP Ariba Implementation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and management of SAP Ariba solutions to streamline procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Ariba Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP Ariba solutions to optimize procurement processes.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, manage supplier performance, and optimize procurement strategies.
  • Integration with SAP PM: Leverage knowledge of SAP PM to integrate maintenance planning and scheduling with procurement processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to users, ensuring they are proficient in using SAP Ariba tools and features.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze current procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices using SAP Ariba.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Requirements

  • Expertise: Proven experience as SAP Ariba Consultant with a strong understanding of procurement processes and the ability to configure, deploy, and manage the Ariba platform.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Management and Leadership: Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: To effectively handle vendor interactions and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Languages: Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to Travel: Around 20-25% of working time.
