Your Role: Career Development Coach

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Career Development Coach to join our team in Steinbach. You will play a vital role in guiding young individuals facing employment challenges by providing them with new perspectives, skills, and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate trusting relationships with participants and offer ongoing individual support through weekly coaching sessions and counseling.
  • Facilitate engaging discussions at our location and conduct outreach activities to connect with individuals in their communities.
  • Develop a robust network of local businesses and social institutions to create valuable opportunities for internships, job placements, and essential services such as debt counseling.
  • Collaborate closely with our partners at the job center to track participant progress and ensure seamless support throughout their journey.

Your Profile:

  • Possess a recognized vocational or academic degree.
  • Hold relevant training in coaching or pedagogy, such as becoming a trainer, systemic coach, NLP practitioner, career entry guide, or a related field like social work, education, psychology, or social sciences.
  • Demonstrate genuine empathy and understanding for individuals facing employment challenges.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience in counseling or coaching, preferably with job seekers.
  • Be willing to travel within the region for outreach work (driver's license and car required).
  • Embrace digital communication tools (e.g., MS Teams, digital coaching platforms) and possess strong self-organization skills.
