Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team. As a Data Protection Specialist, you will provide detailed advice and guidance to our clients on GDPR compliance and other relevant regulations. You will work closely with our team of legal and compliance experts to develop and implement customized solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with data protection and GDPR compliance challenges
  • Develop and implement customized legal policies and procedures for clients' data protection
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients
  • Act as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities, regulatory bodies, and external auditors
  • Offer tailored training to clients on data protection
  • Assist clients with data subject requests and incident management
  • Ensure privacy practices align with regulatory and compliance standards
  • Schedule follow-up calls and meetings
  • Attend relevant industry events, presentations, or trainings
  • Work closely with our Project Manager and other team members to develop and implement our consultancy services
  • Contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in consultancy on data protection and legal fields (GDPR)
  • Detail-oriented approach needed to recommend and implement improvements on a range of data privacy and data protection issues
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Good knowledge of cloud, mobile, and web applications
  • Ability to evaluate tech solutions based on legal aspects
  • Ability to write articles and legal-technical guidelines
  • Willingness to learn about technical and security requirements of software and applications
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to effectively prioritize tasks, follow up, produce consistently accurate work, and meet strict deadlines
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English and German
