The MATHCODA Doctoral Training Unit

The MATHCODA Doctoral Training Unit is a prestigious doctoral program that brings together a team of seven supervisors from the University of Luxembourg, each with expertise in mathematical statistics, probability theory, and their applications.

The program aims to train a new generation of researchers with a deep understanding of mathematical tools and techniques for analyzing complex data structures and addressing real-world problems.

The MATHCODA consortium, led by the Mathematics Department (DMATH) of the Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM), is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join the program.

Job Description

We are seeking PhD candidates to work under the guidance of our experienced supervisors, conducting research in mathematical statistics and probability theory.

The successful candidates will contribute to the department's research activities, including seminars, teaching, outreach, and other events.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in mathematics or a related field
  • Strong dedication to research in mathematical statistics and probability theory
