Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, install, administer, operate, and monitor relational database systems
  • Analyze and troubleshoot problems and errors
  • Perform maintenance, testing, and optimization of database systems
  • Monitor interfaces and backend programs
  • Update and upgrade Oracle and MSSQL servers and databases
  • Backup and restore databases
  • Migrate data
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant work experience or equivalent knowledge and skills
  • Several years of experience in IT administration
  • Knowledge of MS-Visual-Studio PowerShell
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for queries, data corrections, and database management
  • Understanding of database structure
  • Ability to read and understand error messages
  • Skills in database management, backup, and recovery
  • Good knowledge of Oracle, MS-SQL, or MySQL database systems
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Excellent German and English language skills
