About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at Nordson Test & Inspection. As a key member of our automation technologies team, you will play a crucial role in the development of our software suite for automatic x-ray inspection systems.

Your primary responsibilities will include creating solutions for software integration with our systems in end-user factories, custom integrations based on industry standards, and system software extensions. You will also participate in creating specifications for such extensions and support self-developed and team-developed extensions.

In addition, you will perform 3rd level support and system analysis, participate in the migration to Azure DevOps, and support the continuous improvement of our software platform.

Requirements
  • Degree in computer science or similar
  • Professional skills in C# and object-oriented programming, WinForms, WPF
  • Industry areas: Electronics industry, automotive
  • Areas of work: Automation / factory automation, MES, SPC
  • Familiarity with factory-automation protocols e.g. SECS/GEM (SEMI E5, E30, E37,...), CFX (IPC-2591), OpCon, GHP, iTAC
  • Knowledge of SECS/GEM Libraries like Insphere, Cimetrix, Hume
  • Passion to work within an international, interdisciplinary team
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, preferably also German
