Country Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead the launch of our pet insurance vertical in France. As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for managing all operations within the French market, ensuring the successful launch of the pet vertical while developing and leading the local team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the successful launch of dentolo's pet insurance vertical in France.
- Oversee and manage operations in the French market, including profitability, revenue, cash flow, and quality targets.
- Develop and lead a local team with operational roles in sales, customer service, and claims management.
- Conduct constant market analysis and adapt business strategies to meet market and customer needs.
- Act as an intermediary between central core services and local business needs, ensuring alignment.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including Zurich Germany & Group.
- Act as the spokesperson for the French market within and outside the company.
- Completed bachelor's or master's degree in business or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in fast-paced environments (e.g., startups, consulting).
- Strong experience in the insurance industry (Insurtech, consulting, or similar projects).
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
- In-depth knowledge of French business practices and culture, ideally with expertise in the French insurance market.
- Fluent in French (C2 level or native) and English (C1 level). German is a plus.
