CAT III Ukrainian Linguist

Torden LLC is seeking a highly skilled Ukrainian linguist to provide interpretation and translation support services to intelligence operations. As a CAT III Ukrainian linguist, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation, translation, and transcription services for Ukrainian to/from English.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct accurate and timely interpretation, translation, and transcription services for Ukrainian to/from English
  • Provide interpretation services to/from target language dialect and English (ILR Level 3)
  • Work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team, thinking quickly and accurately
  • Understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have a broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation
  • Follow accurately the essentials of conversations between educated native speakers
  • Understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects
Security Requirements:
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
  • Pass a U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening and polygraph to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
  • U.S. Citizenship
Priority will be given to applicants with active security clearances, recent CI interviews, and current polygraphs.
