Site Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at ITT Bornemann GmbH in Obernkirchen. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong business partnerships across all departments to provide financial input and encourage continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership with significant business and financial analytical insight into site operations to support profitability.
- Oversee all financial aspects of the operation, highlighting potential financial triggers and proposing courses of action to achieve strategic plans and financial goals.
- Support investment analysis and review major customer orders to ensure alignment with growth and profit strategy.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly financial reports and ad hoc reports as required.
- Coordinate annual budget and strategic plans to meet or exceed annual budget OI and OCF targets.
- Contribute to long-range systems planning and implementation to improve daily procedures and accuracy.
- Manage human resources responsibilities, including quarterly performance reviews and co-worker development through the 70/20/10 VBLD learning process.
- Actively enable talent capabilities and support further development initiatives.
- Support achievement and timely financial reporting for TTI and GDP metrics, focusing on velocity and Lean principles.
- Oversee and drive improvement in working capital performance.
- Support site management on financial planning and business decisions, providing critical assessment of inputs.
- Maintain strong financial internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure efficient execution of financial activities.
- Requires Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, with both financial and general accounting background in a manufacturing environment, minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with US GAAP and SOX is required, ideally experience in working in a US-company.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, financial planning, and strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, strong team player.
- Excellent computer literacy in MS office, profound knowledge of Excel OneStream, Hyperion, Essbase, LucaNet.
- Effective organizational and analytical skills.
- Resistance to pressure and capable of meeting strict deadlines.
