About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Support Specialist to join our team in Central & Eastern Europe. As a key member of our Technical Support group, you will provide on-site pre- & post-sales technical support activities for high-technological and intelligent traffic & transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site pre- & post-sales technical support activities for diverse high-technological and intelligent traffic & transportation projects.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of systems and equipment and ensure efficient and high-quality troubleshooting, acceptance testing, training and service to clients.
  • Study project camera and network design to propose improvements or alternative solutions and work closely together with the Sales team by responding to technical requests from existing and prospective customers.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions during the project management cycle.
  • Exchange customer feedback and market information with colleagues to drive continuous product- & service improvement.
  • Monitor budget and timing targets, document actions and provide regular updates and accurate progress reports.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant and successful project & technical support management experience as Project-, Service- or Application Engineer, preferably in a multidisciplinary high-technological environment.
  • A proven hands-on experience with installations of servers and network equipment.
  • Customer focus and result-driven professionalism with strong ownership, responsibility, and commitment.
  • Well-organized and autonomous self-starter ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and German (verbal & written) with knowledge of other European languages as an advantage.
  • A valid EU Passport and willingness to relocate to a larger metropolitan area in one of the countries where Teledyne FLIR has its own offices.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 per annum, plus bonus and other benefits in an expanding, dynamic and stimulating international work environment with attractive growth and development opportunities.
