Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team on board the Logos Hope vessel. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for maintaining the domestic water systems, working with the Maintenance team, and ensuring the overall efficiency and quality of the vessel's plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair domestic water systems, including fresh water lines, black and grey waste water systems, drainage systems, and certain hydraulic and refrigeration systems.
- Work under the leadership of the Accommodation Maintenance Engineering Officer to maintain wash rooms, vacuum toilet systems, water supply, and drainage in the galley.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and make repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure the vessel's plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
- Contribute to the overall project goals regarding personal and environmental safety, efficiency, and quality.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and several years of experience as a Plumber.
- Ability to work independently and experience in working with threaded fittings, small diameter copper and steel pipes, plastic piping, brazing, and soldering.
- Problem-solving skills and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with a small team and contribute to the overall project goals.
- Good English ability, both in spoken and written form.
