Job Description

We are seeking a Country HR Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in shaping our labor relations strategies and ensuring compliance with all legal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act in the best interests of our stakeholders and comply with all legal regulations
  • Maintain close contact with employee representatives, especially works councils
  • Negotiate labor matters to reach fair agreements in alignment with company goals and strategies
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies
  • Provide coaching to people leaders and employees to ensure they are supported and their voices are amplified into the broader Solventum organization
  • Consult, guide, and coach on a wide range of Human Resources topics, employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, diversity, and labor relations for the assigned functions and/or businesses
  • Develop and monitor key Human Resources metrics and analyze them to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Closely cooperate with internal interfaces (e.g., Global Service Center and other Human Resources COEs, Talent Acquisition Partners, etc.)
  • Collaborate in various Human Resources projects and support the continuous improvement/digitization of Human Resources processes
  • Create and implement employee engagement initiatives to meet specific or nuanced needs within a business or function
Requirements
  • Degree in law and relevant professional experience in Human Resources, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Profound knowledge in German labor law and the associated co-determination aspects and relevant experiences in working with works councils
Preferred Qualifications
  • Great communication skills to build strong and trusting relationships with various stakeholders
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty and achieve results even in difficult conditions
  • An eye for details and a sense of quality work
  • Strong collaborative skillset and ability to influence
  • Fluent in German and English
