About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at VR Smart Guide GmbH. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing data science models to drive business growth and improve credit risk predictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy new machine learning models to drive business growth and improve credit risk predictions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify valuable data sources and integrate them into our models.
  • Lead the acquisition, integration, and cleaning of diverse data streams to support model development.
  • Clearly communicate complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting our models.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist in financial services, fintech, banking, investments, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and strong programming skills.
  • Strong empathy for small business owners and a user-centric approach to machine learning models.
  • Comfortable operating in a quick and in-transition environment.
  • Demonstration of resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.
  • Fluency in English.
