Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Air Freight Export Manager to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our airfreight department, you will be responsible for maintaining an excellent service performance and contributing to the growth of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process air freight export shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Track and review shipments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Negotiate rates and place orders with airlines, optimizing our logistics operations.
- Prepare and review freight documents, invoices, and customs declarations.
- Monitor compliance with dangerous goods regulations and ensure safe transportation processes.
- Collaborate with customers to provide exceptional support and resolve any queries or concerns.
- Monitor and report on project status, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
Requirements
- Completed studies or vocational training in forwarding and logistics services in Germany.
- Professional experience in export/import/cross trades, air freight, sea freight, or land transport.
- Fluent spoken and written English language skills.
- High customer service awareness and a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
