Service Technician with Focus on Bavaria

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Berthold Technologies in Bavaria. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission new equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of systems and equipment
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Plan and execute service visits independently
  • Provide training and guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Document product improvements and support customer inquiries

Requirements:

  • Completed training as an Electronics Technician with a specialization in Electrical Engineering/Electronics
  • Experience in the field of measurement technology, preferably with a focus on radiation protection
  • Desirable: prior experience as a Service Technician
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for service visits within Germany and occasionally abroad
  • Strong organizational skills, teamwork ability, and self-motivation

Work Environment:

As a Service Technician, you will work primarily from a home office with a small storage area. This requires a dedicated workspace with a computer and necessary tools.
