Global Supply Chain Manager

As a Carrier Manager at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our global supply chains. This involves working closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from operational teams to retail teams and external partners in our middle mile.

Your key responsibilities will include defining supply chain and operating models for various businesses, analysing and interpreting data to improve efficiency across supply chains and multiple operations, partnering with teams to advise on and manage operational challenges, and supporting the planning and organisation of complex projects.

This role requires a proactive and reactive approach, with the ability to navigate challenges as and when situations impact our network. You will work with our Linehaul Service Partners to define a linehaul strategy, navigating through operational issues and guiding them to deliver the best service for our customers.

About the team: Amazon's Transportation Service (ATS) team plays a central role in our success. As part of ATS, you will be welcomed into a diverse team that uses air, sea and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, to help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree
  • Relevant experience working in supply chain
  • Relevant experience working with external suppliers
  • Relevant experience working with Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Relevant experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Relevant experience in building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Relevant experience driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
