Postdoctoral Researcher: Developing a Novel Optical Microscopy Platform for Fertility Research

About the Role
At Embl-Ebi, we are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of a novel optical microscopy platform for fertility research. The successful candidate will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement a hybrid microscopy platform that combines fluorescence microscopy with label-free optical coherence and Brillouin microscopies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop a novel hybrid microscopy platform for fertility research
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to implement the platform and train AI-based models
- Contribute to the development of advanced imaging techniques for fertility research
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., biology, physics, engineering)
- Experience with optical microscopy and image analysis
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or MATLAB
