**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at TOPOS Personalberatung GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our transportation and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for all technical, organizational, and economic processes
- Disciplinary and professional leadership of the dispatch and driver personnel, as well as their development
- Financial control of daily business and service providers
- Continuous review and optimization of pre- and post-processing procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and internal regulations
- Calculations, offers, and contract negotiations with customers and transport companies
- Coordination of an optimal deployment plan and efficient handling of transports
- Responsibility for the company's fleet and consideration of statutory regulations
- Coordination and alignment of vehicle maintenance management
- Review of transportation contracts and documents
- Review of safety procedures
- Close contact and interface function with sales, warehouse, customers, and service providers
- Ensuring occupational and health safety
Requirements:
- Completed commercial training as a logistics manager or equivalent
- Several years of experience in a relevant position within logistics
- Ideal experience in leadership roles
- IHK trade knowledge examination as a traffic manager or willingness to obtain it
- High affinity for key performance indicators and strong analytical skills
- High level of customer orientation and negotiation skills
- Independent, result-oriented work style and hands-on mentality
- Entrepreneurial thinking combined with high implementation orientation
- Knowledge of driver personnel law is an advantage
- Excellent team, communication, and assertiveness skills
- Ability and motivation to drive productivity and utilization of company resources
- Ability to analyze complex issues, quickly adapt to changing task requirements, and develop solutions
- Safe handling of transport management systems desirable, as well as general IT affinity
- Good German and English skills in writing and speaking
