Senior Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Strategy Projects Tech Team at ABOUT YOU in Hamburg.
Job Summary:This is a key role within the company, responsible for steering strategic initiatives across our system landscape. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and smooth cross-system solutions to drive our commerce business forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Design elegant, web-based architecture solutions using AWS, Containers, Microservices, APIs, Message Queuing, and PHP or GO programming languages.
- Craft technical requirements for development teams while maintaining the big picture in mind.
- Support development teams in finding solutions for complex challenges by advising on business needs and risks.
- Accompany implementation of solutions to resolve upcoming blockers.
- Ensure architectural consistency across teams by providing knowledge from other systems.
- Completed studies in informatics or a comparable field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with a proven track record in solution architecture.
- Solid experience in complex (cloud) architectures, interfaces, and processes.
- Routine in solution specification, visualization, presentation, and test planning.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of data storage, processing, and management technologies to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Ability to investigate monitoring and logging platforms like Kibana, Sentry, Datadog.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to grasp new topics fast and break down complex problems.
- Drive to stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to the business.

The estimated salary for this role is around €90,000-€110,000 per year, depending on experience.
