We are seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team at the Faculty of Sociology at Universität Bielefeld. The successful candidate will be part of the ROARA project, which explores the impact of Open Access on research assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting an interview study to analyze the effects of Open Access on research evaluation
  • Compiling and analyzing a corpus of open access policies
  • Publishing research findings and engaging in lecture activities
  • Consolidating research results and contributing to the project's overall success
Requirements:
  • PhD in sociology or a related field
  • Excellent knowledge of qualitative research methods and experience in conducting interviews
  • Strong research orientation and interest in the scientific publishing system
  • Very good English language skills and good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mixed-methods research designs
  • Knowledge of document analysis and research evaluation
