Your Role in Our MissionAs a Senior Scientist in our Biomathematics department, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicists, mathematicians, and bioinformaticians to design and lead chemical and bio-physical activities in hit identification, expansion/refinement, and lead identification. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing protein targets for virtual ligand screening, selecting libraries, and analyzing results from our target characterisation group.
Responsibilities- Design and lead chemical and bio-physical activities in hit identification, expansion/refinement, and lead identification
- Prepare protein targets for virtual ligand screening
- Select libraries for virtual screening
- Analyze results from target characterisation group
- Design and perform hit refinement and lead identification
- Contribute to hit and lead patenting
- PhD in chemistry or medicinal chemistry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in academic or corporate medicinal chemistry
- Excellent skills in English, at least good oral and written skills in German
