About the Role

TenneT is a leading European grid operator, and we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to contribute to our energy transition efforts. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving our strategic ambitions and helping us achieve our goal of a sustainable, reliable, and affordable energy future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify improvement initiatives and solutions to implement within our IT systems and business processes.
  • Understand business needs and opportunities, including a good understanding of business risk and the ability to perform and communicate assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Manage work estimation and planning of analytical activities, including team resourcing, project timeframes, and scope of projects.
  • Develop and execute plans delegated by managers through reporting and status updates.
  • Create business cases for new or existing ventures the business or IT is considering.
  • Analyze and write requirements for new IT systems, prepare tenders, and evaluate tender offers, acting as a bridge between software developers and business colleagues by coordinating deployments and testing of software versions.
  • Support business analysis in migration projects.

About You

  • Academic working and thinking level with at least 3 years of experience as a business analyst.
  • Demonstrable process and IT knowledge in the area of system operations or market processes in the energy sector.
  • Relevant certificates and trainings, e.g., BiSL, BABOK, IREB, Prince2, Scrum.
  • Good knowledge of German and English language (C1 minimum).

Our Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €79,700 - €100,300 and a 37-hour working week. The position is limited until 31.01.2026, and job interviews will be partly in English.
