As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our onshore wind parks, photovoltaic, and battery storage systems.
About the Team
Our Engineering team provides technical expertise and services for onshore wind parks, photovoltaic, and battery storage systems. We offer a range of services, from early project development to construction and operation. Our team is responsible for providing technical services, including layout design, yield calculations, and wind measurement data collection using LiDAR and meteorological masts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and install wind measurement systems and activities, ensuring timely data delivery, management, analysis, and preparation of wind, energy, and load-related climate data for our onshore wind park locations.
- Manage the installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of monitoring systems, as well as provide services for site assessment, development, operations, and external customers.
- Collect, provide, and manage the storage of all data from permanent meteorological masts, remote sensing (LiDAR), and other sources.
- Perform due diligence on quality-related documentation of measurement systems and campaigns (e.g., technical design and equipment, installation and maintenance protocols, calibration certificates).
- Continuously monitor wind and other meteorological measurement results to ensure high data quality and adherence to project time and budget plans.
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair work on measurement systems.
- Analyze measurement data using industry standards or equivalent internal software (e.g., Windographer, MMMT, Smart Data Pipeline).
- Support performance curve measurements and sound measurements using masts and LiDAR.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders and contractors throughout the monitoring activities of the project, from planning to decommissioning.
- Review technical, planning, and tender documents, evaluate offers, and support contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers for timely contract initiation or extension.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international and national technical standards for wind turbine construction and occupational safety standards for work at the site.
Requirements
- A completed vocational training with several years of relevant work experience or a successfully completed university degree in engineering or a comparable field.
- Extensive experience in handling measurement networks, data acquisition, and storage systems.
- Experience in managing stakeholders and project management.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and electronics.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work in challenging outdoor conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and self-motivation.
- Flexibility to travel within Germany for short periods.
- Good German and English language skills are required.
- A valid driver's license, including trailer, is required.

- Opportunity to bring in new ideas for improving existing processes or introducing new instruments and methods in the wind measurement community.
- We empower and strengthen you to make your own decisions in your daily work.
- Active networks like LGBTQI+, Women's Network, and Empower Network (people with disabilities, neurodiversity, and mental health).
