Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Toxicology Specialist to join our team in Heidelberg. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing biological materials for various tests using chemical, extractive, and chromatographic methods
  • Conducting and analyzing tests using UV/VIS spectroscopy, ISE, and cryoscopy
  • Performing clinical-chemical routine tests on analyzers such as Beckman (AU680)
  • Determining electrolytes using atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS)
  • Determining heavy metals using plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
  • Conducting drug analysis using mass spectrometry (GC-MS, LC-MS)
  • Participating in equipment maintenance, reagent production, and procurement
  • Conducting and evaluating quality control measures in accordance with the guidelines of the Federal Chamber of Physicians (RiliBÄK) and DIN EN/IEC 17025

Requirements

  • Completed training as a toxicology specialist or equivalent
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Experience in instrumental analysis is required
