Senior AI & Data Engineer Role at Vorwerk

Vorwerk is a dynamic and internationally successful group that offers a diverse, creative, and cooperative working environment. We are looking for a Senior AI & Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to our innovative and agile work culture.

  • Lead the development, improvement, and establishment of AI & Data Engineering practices
  • Guide and support our Data Engineering and MLOps communities of practice
  • Empower vertical delivery teams within our cross-functional AI & data organization
  • Provide servant leadership to enhance individual productivity and motivate team members
  • Foster and develop our AI & data architecture and organization
  • Promote data literacy, data governance, and data ethics throughout the organization
  • Support innovative projects that use cutting-edge research to develop new AI-powered products
  • Explore and evaluate new tools and technologies in the AI & data space
  • Ensure high quality of our AI & data-powered products

Requirements for the Role

  • Extensive experience in developing and deploying scalable data science and machine learning applications
  • Several years of experience with Databricks for Data Engineering and ML application development
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of machine learning solutions
  • Familiarity with LLMs is a plus
  • Knowledge and understanding of data science and AI technologies
  • Strong independence, team collaboration, enthusiasm, and networking skills
  • Proficient in modern large-scale Agile methodologies and group dynamics
  • Strong focus on customer value and experience
  • Open and clear style of communication and collaboration
  • Business fluent English and German language skills
