Energy Leadership Position in Power Management

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute advanced technology projects leveraging German and European government funding with internal and external stakeholders.
- Encourage technology realization programs utilizing our internal project execution processes.
- Support technology roadmaps and strategies as it relates to the European region, as well as developing relationships with Eaton stakeholders (engineering, product lines, government programs).
- PhD or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required.
- R&D experience in distributed energy resource (DER) integration and management, microgrid, power distribution systems modeling, analysis, monitoring, and control, protection, EV charging infrastructure, and its grid integration is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and executing EU and German government-funded projects to advance research and product development in power and energy systems areas is welcome.
- Experience in managing lab/experimental infrastructure including both power and control hardware in the loop testing facilities is preferred.
- Program management – new product development innovation process skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German (oral and written) are required.

Our estimated salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $220,000 depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
