Job Summary

Chugai Pharma Germany, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer - European Risk Management and Assurance to join its team. As a key member of the European Risk Management and Compliance Assurance framework, you will be responsible for establishing and advancing data-driven insights and reporting that showcase the Compliance value and further support the company vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, analyze, and react to residual risk from internal compliance controls/framework
  • Implement, manage, and coordinate risk maps with risk owners across the business and across all 3 EU territories
  • Guide European business teams on applying an efficient risk management approach for projects
  • Crisis and Business Continuity Management and implementation across all 3 territories
  • Validate monitoring and investigation reports (if conducted externally or by other compliance team member)
  • Report risk status and outcome of Assurance activities to the European Risk & Compliance Committee
  • CAPA plan assignment, tracking, and management
  • Maintain and update incident register and/or appropriate management system
  • Identify compliance by design opportunities
  • Insight dashboard reporting (Data Analytics) to inform Assurance activities, showcase Compliance value, and further support the company vision
Requirements
  • At least 5 years working experience in a Compliance, Audit, Investigations, or Quality role, holding a position with a high level of accountability and authority
  • International work experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of effective risk management in a highly regulated environment, preferable in a pharmaceutical company
  • Experience of working in an international and cross-functional environment
  • Ability to work through complex or highly detailed areas/data sets to simplify necessary outputs
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
