About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Barleben, Germany. As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging materials and processes meet top-quality standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and validation of packaging designs to ensure they meet all performance, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor packaging-related issues, complaints, and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain packaging quality documentation, including control plans, test protocols, and specifications.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes for packaging materials and products.
  • Monitor the performance of packaging materials during production and distribution.

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in packaging quality control or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • Experience with packaging materials (e.g., corrugated, plastics) and testing methods (e.g., ISTA, ASTM, BCT, ECT).
  • Problem-solving and corrective action implementation skills.
  • Effective communication and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
