Our software solutions help companies optimize their logistics processes, and we are looking for a sales professional who can effectively communicate the value of our products to potential clients.

About You:

We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record of success in the SaaS industry, preferably in the transportation and logistics space. You should have a strong understanding of the industry and be able to effectively communicate the value of our products to potential clients. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
Report directly to C-level executives with sales forecasts, market insights, and team performance
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-ones to track sales progress and address challenges
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals
Utilize your creativity and resourcefulness to identify and engage potential clients through various channels
Run a full sales cycle on new business at or above quota on a monthly cadence
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for national accounts, including identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and creating customized sales pitches
Find new prospects from both inbound and self-sourced leads
Run qualification calls with executives and department leaders
Gain an in-depth understanding of our SaaS products and effectively communicate their value to potential clients
Deliver engaging and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to showcase how our software solutions can benefit national account clients
Sell through internal champions to multiple stakeholders, as well as directly to C-level
Leverage your experience in selling long-cycle software solutions to develop and execute effective sales strategies
Skillfully negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure business agreements with national accounts
Stay ahead of the curve in the ever-evolving world of technology, staying informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics
Manage opportunities with timely and accurate notes, tasks, and documentation to effectively communicate the status of a client record in the pipeline
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions in CRM systems
Work collaboratively with marketing and product departments to evolve our sales strategy when new features and products are introduced

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Minimum 5+ years of direct sales experience in SaaS technology, preferably in the Transportation and Logistics space
5+ years of SaaS sales experience; prior experience in selling software solutions is a significant advantage
5+ years of people leadership experience
Experience in a complex selling environment
Good knowledge of the Transport and Logistics space
Management of monthly and annual pipeline as well as proven accuracy in forecasting
Goal-orientated with a track record of overachieving on monthly and annual targets
Ability to mentor and develop sales team members
Ability to engage effectively with a range of clients, from new client acquisition to nurturing existing accounts
Experience working with executive-level decision-makers
A high performer with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and goals
Ability to deliver effective presentations to live audiences, both in person and online
Capable of working remotely with various groups and cultures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office solutions and Salesforce
Ability to travel 30% of the time – sometimes at short notice
Being Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal, is essential
Legally authorized to work in Germany
