Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic and Financial Decision Process Manager to join our Competence Center Valuation team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will guide the preparation of investment, divestment, and commercial contract decisions, providing financial planning and valuation services to support decision-making. You will also facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration between stakeholders and lead the digital transformation of approval processes to streamline workflow and reduce delays.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present financial plans and valuations to support investment, divestment, and commercial contract decisions
  • Provide financial planning and valuation services to support decision-making
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration between stakeholders
  • Lead the digital transformation of approval processes to streamline workflow and reduce delays
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously seek areas for improvement and enhancement of business policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • Strong commitment to meeting stakeholder needs
  • Drive to take ownership, strong team player with demonstrated experience of working in an international team
  • Excellent university education in Business Administration/Finance or similar
  • Ideally at least 3 years of proven professional experience in the preparation of investment decisions; relevant experience in financial planning and valuation appreciated
  • Track-record of working experience on agile driven change or transformation projects in a leading role
  • Ability to maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and profound knowledge in Information Technologies and Data Analytics applications to manage digital workflows for enterprise operations
  • Profound understanding of financial performance analysis and valuation methods
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages welcome
