Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at Volocopter GmbH. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing payroll-related employee data, including time and attendance data, in collaboration with our People & Organization Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll relevant employee data, including time and attendance data, in collaboration with People & Organization Specialists
  • Prepare monthly payroll in close collaboration with external payroll provider
  • Supervise correct payroll runs through pre and post payroll checks
  • Manage complex payroll cases in collaboration with employees and external partners
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll (including tax and social security) related questions to management, employees and P&O colleagues
  • Run payroll related analyses and provide respective reports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (P&O, Finance, Controlling, tax and social security authorities)
  • Contribute to process improvements and digitalization projects

Requirements

  • Profound knowledge of payroll processes; ability to steer and control payroll process, create solutions for individual cases, create proposals for process improvements and steer/control external providers
  • Profound knowledge in German tax and social security regulations, ability to apply to broad range of cases; ability to solve complex cases in alignment with further partners (tax consultants)
  • Profound knowledge of HRIS, payroll and time & attendance IT system in use
  • Knowledge of classic HR KPIs and analysis methods/software (Excel); ability to apply to standard and ad-hoc requests
  • Proficiency in standard office IT systems
  • Basic knowledge of project management methods
  • Fluent in English and German language
