About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Robotics QA Release Engineer to join our team at Magazino. As a key member of our robotics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth release of new software updates to our robot fleet.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a release rollout plan, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software deployments.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and prioritize development work accordingly.
  • Monitor software performance, identify issues, and coordinate fixes to ensure optimal robot operation.
  • Help prioritize the bug backlog, organize testing, and lead improvements through our backport process.
  • Coordinate A/B testing plans and manage feature toggles to ensure seamless software updates.
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate and assist in the release process.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in robotics, computer science, or a related field. Your expertise should include:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, computer science, industrial engineering, or mechatronics.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in mobile robotics projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns in software behavior and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proficiency in ROS, Linux, and at least one programming language (ideally Python or C++).
  • Nice to have: experience with building automation tools and understanding of software deployment processes.
