Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Officer/Specialist Payroll to join our team at BASF Services Europe GmbH. As a key member of our HR Services France Payroll and Personal Administration team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality HR services to our BASF group companies based in France.
Responsibilities:- Own the monthly HR processes and implement, improve, and maintain administrative processes in SAP HR.
- Prepare, process, audit, and reconcile payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate post-payroll and additional reports.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including social security, retirement providers, health insurance, and provident funds, to receive information on time for processing into the payroll.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements concerning our HR services and regulations.
- Contribute to internal projects, focusing on solutions to increase efficiency and encourage best practice sharing amongst European HR teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools and autonomously consult and bring ideas to our Payroll chapter.
- Contribute to quality and knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in Payroll for France and fundamental knowledge in HR Administration.
- Fluent French and good level of English.
- Ideal experience with SAP HR.
- Good MS-Office expertise.
- Proactive and customer-oriented.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership attitude towards payroll processes.
- Professional and open-minded attitude and ability to work in a dynamic team.
