Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Team at LivaNova PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of Heart-Lung Machines and contributing to the design and verification phase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain electrical drawings, including electrical schematics, cable drawings, and other electrical documentation.
  • Apply technical knowledge to solve problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documents.
  • Document and maintain cabling and interconnect schemes and drawings.
  • Support management of PCB libraries.
  • Support engineering test execution.
  • Support development of first prototypes, from cable assemblies to parts soldering.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Medical Devices Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Familiarity with ECADs such as Mentor PADS, Altium.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment.
  • Maker attitude.
  • Compliance with site policy and procedures.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of the English language. Knowledge of German language is appreciated.
  • Electronic systems schematic interpretation, electrical circuit design, electrical cable design, equipment troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Operation and use of standard test and measuring instruments.
  • Basics of FW development and debugging on target.
