About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SAM Consultant to join our team at Crayon. As a Technical SAM Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring Software Asset Management (SAM) tools to our customers' environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and operate SAM solutions
  • Support customers in implementing best practices and continuously improving data quality
  • Help customers solve tool issues, analyze errors and logs, and communicate with tool publisher support
  • Work with licensing consultants and other experts to deliver individual analytics and reports
  • Learn new trends and tools, develop extensions and automations for existing tools

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of working experience with SAM/ITAM solutions such as Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one programming/scripting/query language (PowerShell, JavaScript, Rust, SQL, etc.)
  • Certifications such as CSAM, CITAM, ITIL 4, and tool publisher certifications will be highly regarded

  • You are curious, interested in development, and open to learning new things, processes, programming languages, etc.
  • You are a team player, willing to share findings, knowledge, and experience with colleagues
