Our TeamOur Fincrime teams focus on protecting customers and the company against bad actors, leveraging a large swath of data to deliver the best possible protection. As an Analytics Engineer in this team, you will work on pipelines fuelling our internal decision-making tools with the necessary data and help unlock results to our defences.
Your RoleYou will be responsible for understanding data needs of our FinCrime tooling, creating pipelines that are an integral part of our decision engine, and running analytics on it to understand its performance and find opportunities to further optimise it. Additionally, you will build batch and real-time pipelines for customer data, transactions, and supportive information according to product needs, create monitoring dashboards to break down the effectiveness of our current solution, and closely work with engineering and product teams on investigating individual fraud cases and improving our defences.
Requirements- At least 4 years of analytics experience with an engineering mindset and a focus on building ETL pipelines
- Orientation on personal and professional growth, never settling with what you have
- Good business acumen and an interest in FinTech
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good at understanding product needs and translating them into analytics pipelines
- Proven experience with data visualisation tools, preferably Looker
- Capable of prioritising based on impact and estimating the effort needed for an outcome
- Good understanding of statistics with respect to analysing A/B experiments and ability to communicate their results in a simple, yet correct form to stakeholders
- Experience with our tech stack: AWS/Snowflake/Airflow/Python/SQL and ideally also DBT
As a Strategic Data Analyst for FinCrime Prevention, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on your location and experience.
