We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Excellence Specialist to join our team in Munich. As a key member of our Accounting team, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing accounting processes, monitoring end-to-end processes, and handling accountancy and tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize accounting processes, including interfaces
  • Monitor the Group's end-to-end processes, including documentation of the internal control system (ICS/SOX)
  • Handle accountancy and tax issues
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IFRS)
  • Collaborate with auditors and tax consultants

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in economics (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or comparable business training and/or financial/accounting accountant (IHK)
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in accounting or auditing
  • Experience with a common accounting and ERP system, as well as a certain IT affinity (ideally DATEV, Microsoft Business Central)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • A high degree of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work
  • Good knowledge of German and English
