About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at s.m.s, smart microwave sensors GmbH. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance radar algorithms that run on multi-core processors with hardware accelerators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop radar-specific algorithms in C or using SPT kernels
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for specific hardware accelerators
  • Work with reference models and SDKs to bring radar signal processing to our embedded sensor products
  • Solve challenging tasks and contribute to the development and maintenance of our innovative software stack
Requirements
  • Completed studies in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in hardware accelerators (DSPs or similar) and programming languages C and C++
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, testing, and low-level driver programming
  • Profound knowledge of signal processing (FFT, CFAR) and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills in English, German a plus
