Head of IT Operations

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as Head of IT. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our IT strategy, ensuring seamless integration of technology across our 40+ hotels and head office.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT team and provide strategic direction for the development and implementation of IT systems and networks
- Ensure data security and compliance with data protection regulations, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity
- Manage and administer Microsoft 365 products, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support business goals, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization
- Collaborate with external service providers and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of IT services
- Support hotel staff with IT issues, providing timely and effective resolution
- Manage Support L1/L2 and ticketing system, ensuring prompt and efficient issue resolution
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT sector, ideally in hospitality
- Proficient knowledge and practical experience as an administrator of Microsoft 365 products
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a proven track record of success
- High problem-solving ability and analytical thinking, with a focus on innovation and efficiency
- Excellent communication skills and team orientation, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
