Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Train Driver (d/m/w) Class A to join our team at Captrain Deutschland-Gruppe. As a Train Driver, you will be responsible for operating diesel-powered locomotives in our rail network, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate diesel-powered locomotives in our rail network, following established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods and passengers, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on locomotives to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient rail operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a Train Driver Class A certification program, as per TfV regulations.
  • Prüfer Wagen certification, as per VDV-Schrift 758 (Stufe 1 and 2).
  • Desirable: certification for additional modules, such as Funkfernsteuerung.
  • Fundamental knowledge of diesel-hydraulic locomotives.
  • Successful completion of a Bremsprobenberechtigten training program.
  • Good physical and mental health, as per TfV regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
  • High level of responsibility and reliability.
  • Knowledge of GGVSEB regulations.
  • Desirable: possession of a valid Class B driving license.
