Job Title: Senior Java Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Leipzig. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java and Spring Framework, with a strong focus on backend engineering and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java code for our Webfleet Solutions Service Platform
  • Collaborate with our product management team to share ideas for new features and improve existing ones
  • Develop, implement, test, and demonstrate new features within an agile process
  • Ensure the scalability, security, and usability of our platform
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in Java Backend SW development, in a service-oriented environment
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Java (8+), Spring (Boot), HTTP, API design, SQL DBs, and UML
  • Strong focus on software testing, with experience in automation (TTD experience is a plus)
  • Experience in developing microservices and good knowledge of Apache Kafka
  • Experience with DevOps and familiarity with service monitoring tools (plus)
